The laboratory covers an area of 150 acres, with check valve dynamic characteristic device, air valve experimental device, control valve steady state experimental device, digital twin pipeline experimental device, multi-objective experimental device and so on. The main design parameters are: pumping station installation of 11 horizontal pumps, a long-shaft pump, installed power 1100kW; pipe network length of 3 km, the longest single pipeline 2km, the experimental pipe diameter covering DN80-DN1200, the maximum test flow: 9000m³/h, the height of the water tower of 55m, divided into 20m, 35m, 50m, 50m3 volume per layer, the system installed a total of various types of valve 177 valves and 75 sets of sensors are installed in the system, which is the largest hydrodynamic laboratory in the world.
